I came into this world on October 28th, 1961 in Coffeyville, Kansas, USA. Coffeyville is where the infamous Dalton Gang met their end. I graduated with the "Class of '78" from Peoria High School, Peoria, Arizona, USA. I was conferred an Associate in Arts degree by the University of Maryland, while serving in the United States Navy at Rota, Spain. Many years later I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. I was granted the Amateur Radio Callsign "K6EKB" in 1998. I speak fluent German & English, some Russian and some Spanish. I was mobilized by the US Navy Reserve in January, 2006 and served in Baghdad, Iraq until April, 2007. In December, 2007 I switched to the US Army Reserve and now serve as a Warrant Officer in an Army Reserve Unit. In my civilian life, I work as a Software Engineer for Intel Corporation in Dupont, Washington, USA, and am a Marketing Executive for Melaleuca. I'm a single Dad with 4 wonderful children. On July 24th, 2007 with the birth of Trace Landon Fisher to my oldest daughter Christine I became a grandpa! In my spare time I enjoy riding my Honda ST 1300 sport touring motorcycle, sailing, Amateur Radio, jogging, camping, hiking, and target practice. I'm a charter member of the Granite Dome " Hard Landing Club". I'm a member of the Thurston County ARES/RACES team. If you call me "Mr. Ed" then you have to sing Mr. Ed's Theme Song! :-)
